Dominica offer buses and tours to help make your trip more enjoyable. You can also inquire with Ride on Rentals for a city tour of Roseau if they have openings available.

The US Virgin Islands

The St. Croix offers buses, car rentals, day tours,  and shuttles/taxis to assist with transpiration on your trips.  You can visit the below links to help

Cleaning

Enhanced Cleaning during COVID-19

The Green castle is committed to an enhanced cleaning process to keep our guests safe. Here is what we are committed to doing before every stay:

Sanitize surfaces

Sanitize every high-touch surface, down to the doorknob

Use approved products

Use cleaners approved by health experts, like disinfectants with

70% alcohol or higher

Thoroughly clean room by room

Refer to our extensive checklists while cleaning room-by-room

Wear a mask and gloves especially around guests

Help avoid cross-contamination by wearing a mask and gloves

Wash all linens

Wash linens at a high heat setting

Follow all other local guidance

Comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines

Extra Housekeeping

Cleaning service will be a $35.00 charge after 14 days. This is not the same as a request for sheets and towels which is included with the guests stay. Guests can request sheets, towels, and support at any time.

Laundry Service

There is a laundry service 1 minute from the property.

Electrical Outlet

The outlets may look be different depending on where you are from. Please speak to our host to make sure the apartment accommodates you when it comes to the charging devices for a phone, computer, or tablet.  We do have attachments that will work for any phone, computer, and iPad by request.

Hot water

If you are not familiar with how the hot water works on an island. Please make sure you inquire on how to turn it on and off with the host when you book. It is very different than when you are in the states especially.

Safety

At the Green Castle

Our Dominica and St. Croix Us Virgin Islands properties are equipped with smart locks, outside surveillance, private parking, host management, and periodic security patrolling.

Please always use your common sense as a tourist/traveler when it comes to attending island activities, going to venues or island establishments, and paying attention to what time you go out. It is always safer to go out with a travel buddy or in groups. Remember, the locals know more about the island than the visitors.

Jewelry and Belongings

Please always keep your jewelry, cell phone, etc. in a safe place. Even when they are on you. It may be safer on any island to not wear expensive jewelry out in the open.
